Job Description:
Calpine Containers is a 120-year old company with over $100 million in annual sales and growing strong. We are a recognized leader in providing the agricultural industry with the best and widest selection of containers and packaging materials.
We are currently in search of a Warehouse/Maintenance candidate to train with our company located at our Lodi Distribution Center in California.
Duties would include but not be limited to:
o Help with the distribution of Agricultural Packaging.
o Supervise approx. 4 employees, plus box crews. Up to 16 total personnel.
o Answer phones on occasion.
o Work with customers on their day to day repeat orders.
o Coordination of production with Manager's guidance.
o Safety: ensuring all personal are following safety procedures, and assist in safety training.
o Work with Manager on cash sales.
o Occasional delivery.
o Equipment maintenance and repair.
Requirements:
Strong organizational skills for filling and organizing yard.
Strong communication skills.
Proficient computer skills (Order entry and Microsoft Outlook). Oracle knowledge a plus.
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Forklift experience.
Self-motivated, dedicated, ability to work as a team, hard working with integrity.
Clean driving record.
Hours are estimated at 8 hours per day with possible Saturdays and a few Sundays during the cherry season (April 1 - June 1). July through October will be mainly yard makeup and maintenance in outside locations. Punctuality is a must.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
